Greetings Tavernist, I just wanted to inform all of you that Team Tavern will be forming again this year to ride in the 2010 American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure on May 15th. The Tour is a family friendly bicycle ride to raise money for diabetes education and research and has ride lengths for all levels of cyclers...12, 25, 50 and 100 miles. Diabetes has touched all of in some way and is now taking on epidemic proportions...and we plan to do our part to help. If any of you are interested in joining Team Tavern or have questions please email or stop by Tremont Tavern to sign up. We will be conducting our first fund raiser for the Tour on Super Bowl Sunday. For the Super Bowl we will be selling squares on our football betting board for $5 each. Donated prizes will be given away each quarter and all money raised will go to the American Diabetes Association. Also, in addition to our great food we will be having a low country boil with amazing beer specials all day. For $15 dollars you can get a huge plate of low country boil, a draft beer and a square. Low country boil plates will be by reservation only so let us know ahead of time. Super Bowl Sunday Tremont Tavern will be a blast so come on down and join us for a lot of fun and all for a great cause!
